Privacy Policy

Tales of Wild is a static photography website. It has no accounts, no logins, no comment system and no payment processing. This page explains the small amount of data handling that does happen.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages and links visitors use — for example, clicks on safari, Instagram and gear links. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect device and usage information as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We only record generic interaction events; we never send your name, email address or message content to analytics, and we do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

External Links

The site links out to Instagram and to Amazon affiliate collections. Once you follow an external link, that service's own privacy policy applies. Amazon links are affiliate links: Tales of Wild may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

What We Do Not Collect

  • No user accounts or passwords.
  • No payment or card information.
  • No database of visitor data on this site.

If you email us, your message and address are used only to reply to your enquiry.

Contact Form

The contact form sends the name, email address and message you enter directly to Aneel by email so he can reply. The details are transmitted through the site's email provider and are not stored in any database on this website. A simple spam check (a hidden field and a timing check) runs when you submit; it does not track you.

Statutory Compliance Framework & Data Subject Rights

Tales of Wild operates under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act 2023) and Section 43A of the Information Technology Act 2000. Under Rule 3, Rule 4, and Rule 5 of the Information Technology Reasonable Security Practices Rules 2011, Indian citizens and global wildlife enthusiasts retain enforceable statutory rights:

  • Section 1: Data Summary Protocol. You may request written verification regarding telemetry by contacting Data Controller Aneel in Hyderabad, India at [email protected] within 30 days.
  • Section 2: Rectification & Erasure Mechanism. Pursuant to Section 12 of the DPDP Act 2023, inaccurate identifiers or inquiry records are updated or expunged within 14 business days.
  • Section 3: Grievance Redressal Timeline. Formal inquiries submitted to [email protected] receive verification within 24 hours and final administrative determination within 30 calendar days.
  • Section 4: European Union & United Kingdom Provisions. For visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), Tales of Wild complies with General Data Protection Regulation Article 13 and Article 14 standards governing Google Analytics 4 telemetry.
  • Section 5: Telemetry Retention Schedule. Google Analytics 4 session records are automatically deleted after 14 months (420 days) pursuant to Google LLC cloud data retention schedules.
  • Section 6: Network Protection Protocols. Modern server headers including Strict Transport Security, Content Security Policy, and Permissions Policy prevent unauthenticated surveillance across all 6 production routes.
  • Section 7: Outbound Commercial Storefronts. External affiliate links directed toward Amazon Associates storefronts operate under Amazon Services LLC Associates Program operating agreements with zero cookie injection prior to deliberate user navigation.
  • Section 8: Cryptographic Transport Security. All HTTP transactions mandate Transport Layer Security 1.3 encryption protocols, preventing packet interception over untrusted public Wi-Fi networks in transit.
  • Section 9: Zero Biometric Collection Policy. This publication explicitly prohibits biometric profiling, facial scanning, behavioral canvas fingerprinting, or automated keystroke telemetry across all client viewports.
  • Section 10: Server Log Minimization. Web server access logs hosted on LiteSpeed enterprise clusters record truncated IPv4 and IPv6 octets, purged unconditionally every 7 calendar days.
  • Section 11: Minor Privacy Safeguards. Under Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023, this platform refrains from behavioral tracking, targeted advertisements, or surveillance directed at children below age 18.
  • Section 12: Independent Audit Verification. Privacy architecture reviews occur quarterly under ISO/IEC 27001 baseline guidance to ensure client telemetry vectors remain strictly bounded within published policy disclosures.
